REVs fall slowly

Perhaps its just me having never owned such a highly tuned N/A engine but i noticed on the 182 that when you prod the throttle gently the revs rise really quickly but seem to fall a lot slower? i assume its just as its such a light/low inertia engine? Or isnt that normal?

It's normal. Probably to do more with the electronic throttle rather than flywheel inertia.

Totally normal, as Roy said it's electronic rather than cable controlled.

How does the electric vs cable throttle effect this?

closes the gap slower so it revs longer, plus i think the flywheel is quite light on them too

nearly 100bhp per liter isnt bad. in the m-power region, which are all hand built.
