just woke up to see the sun shining through my curtains, gonna take my 172 for its first proper drive since i got it on monday, gonna go onto moors at woodhead between barnsley and manchester.

anybody know of any other good roads like this one in barnsley and surrounding areas?

anyone else got the same idea?

didnt manage to get any pics, found a nice location then realised id forgot my phone!

anyway still went for a decent drive and ended up havin a play with a megane coupe down a steepish twisty road, its the first time since i got the car last week that ive really pushed it in anything other than a straight line and when id slowed down after the twistys i noticed the brakes had faded really, really bad and were struggling to stop at all, even from 30-40 mph.

has anyone else experienced this in their 172's or is it normal and i shouldnt worry?:S

It's normally for the OEM brakes on the 1*2's to fade after heavy braking.
