Rear Strut Bar fitted, lookin lovely!!! (pics)

A question about the rear strut bar, How does it fix in place ?

Did you have to drill holes inside each rear wheel arch and put bolts through from the outside ?

It just fixes in with 4 bolts, 2 at either end. Yes you have to drill the arches, only about half inch thick, but when you do it make sure you dont go through the tire like i did! :o

Wouldn't you have issues with rusty inside arches doing this ? :S

Or are you not planning to keep car that long ?

Wouldn't you have been better with one that attached to the strut tops ?

Hope to keep the car for my 182 conversion one day! So if it rusts im gonna be bit buggered if thats gonna be the case!

^^ not a bad idea, would take ages to prep correctly though i would imagine

took me about 5 hours i think to spray the rear of mine, this is my old clio...

Wow!! :eek: and how did you get just half of the rear side panels out? Did you cut them as they are one piece?

Iv just put a subwoofer in my car as im lost with the front standard components...So i may end up doing a bit of a one off instal :D
