Rear Strut Bar fitted, lookin lovely!!! (pics)

The seats were cheap, made by Auto Style, £88 each!!!!!!!! Apparently they are made in the same factory as Sparco stuff just dont have the Sparco badge on them!

Im needing cheap-ish seats for my shed, but always worry about non branded stuff.

A question about the rear strut bar, How does it fix in place ?
Did you have to drill holes inside each rear wheel arch and put bolts through from the outside ?
It just fixes in with 4 bolts, 2 at either end. Yes you have to drill the arches, only about half inch thick, but when you do it make sure you dont go through the tire like i did!

Your car doesnt have struts on the back, only a torsion bar so it wont make any difference to the chassis
It should have been sold as a showbrace,The front has struts so it'd be beneficial fitting one there

Ok...where do i get a real strut bar from for the back? I shud make a difference, its locked in tight so shouldnt it do anything?

Wouldn't you have issues with rusty inside arches doing this ? :S
Or are you not planning to keep car that long ?

Hope to keep the car for my 182 conversion one day! So if it rusts im gonna be bit buggered if thats gonna be the case!

took me about 5 hours i think to spray the rear of mine, this is my old clio...
well worth the effort, looks loads better imo.

and how did you get just half of the rear side panels out? Did you cut them as they are one piece?Iv just put a subwoofer in my car as im lost with the front standard components...So i may end up doing a bit of a one off instal
