NI meet 13/04/08

Todays run saw the majority take a run from Ards to Downpatrick and then onto Strangford. There the ferry was caught across the opening of strangford lough to Portaferry at the top of the Ards Peninsula and the 19 mile drive back up to Ards again. Some came from banbridge direction to save a pointless 70 miles! less said about that the better eh! heres some photos.

Was a very good day out indeed, great weather for a drive. Shame about ross but these things happen and at least we saw him! By the way thats my engine bay before anyone else tries to pawn it off as their own :rasp:

Great day out though... the ones that didnt come missed out! Glad all is ok Ross with your mum, without the LY the car park was dull! Blue clios.... Common as fook today!

A really great day for any sort of a meet, couldn't of asked for better weather

After some dilly-dallying in the morning then those "twisty" roads stuck behind the Sunday drivers - we were on our way!

What was it the chav in the TDi Golf was shouting at us?
I couldn't make it out over the engine noise :rasp:

The ferry was short but the breeze was immense!

Lunch was a disappointment, spent more time waiting on it than doing anything else :dapprove:
So a few bored while waiting pics

After lunch, the reception back at the cars was great

And on the way home Me, Pete & Rossmac had a laugh when we seen this park beside us.

pics look well. im abit pissed off i couldnt make it. whens the next one? should make it soon i wana run out. anyone have any ideas? How about a run up the north coast? and a trip across Carrick-a-Rede bridge, havnt been up there in a while. Ill organise this if theres the interest. that way ill deffently have to go!
