Powerflow for 182?

dont buy powerflower they are crap look at exhaust threads there are loads out there I have a miltek with decat sounds awsome

I wouldnt bother with a powerflow. They just bolt bits together to make em fit. Theres no design or consideration for performance.

I would really like to get the milltek with the decat like rob browns but im just worrying about the MOT test :dapprove:

I think thats a bit hasty!? Powerflow is a franchise, you put money in and get stock to use the name! It completly depends on who does it.
The guys I go to are brilliant and have done exhaust for I think my last 5 cars! Never had a problem, if it does start to blow a bit they're more than happy to take a look!
I'm getting mine done next weekend as the Magnex backbox looks to chavvy.

And on those 5 cars extensive research and development has been done to each one to see what would benefit you most? No.

The build quality is fine, i wont argue with that.

I've got a Powerflow on my 172, a stealth one. Sounds great and looks bog standard. Different strokes for different folks, I bought mine because it was cheaper and better than replacing with standard parts, the performace issue never came into it.

I'd advise one to anyone, with any car.

I can't comment on the Powerflow on a 182 , i might be looking in to it soon for mine . But i had a stealth Powerflow fitted on my 172 and it was the dogs dangly bits . Looked standard , sounded far from standard though . A nice burble on tickover and a throaty roar when you booted it .

Can't fault the guys at Powerflow in Burnley . I've seen alot of people comment about how please they are with theirs and i've also seen alot of people comment on how crap they are .

I'm not quite sure if the people with the crap comments are actually talking from experience , or it was a mate of a mate of a mate who had one and it was crap ;) .

Had one on my last car. Fitted by a specialist from SA who was training people in birmingham. There was nothing "wrong" with it, and the build quality was excellent.... but it was heavy. And loud. And not much else.

got a cat back powerflow on my 172 ph1 sounds amazing and with lifetime warrenty i cant complain

lol I've always been wary of powerflow since about 8 years ago, a mate with a Fiesta RST had them put an exhaust in, up through the boot floor and out of the boot lid. Crazy.

dont do it there not tuned to an individual car there just bolted together. i got one on my 172 and it starts out stupidly noisy, it does bed in but still im sure a more specialist clio exhaust would be much better!

From the horses mouth.
