tighten pedal

just a quick question....is it possible to tighten a ph2 172 accelerator pedal as it seems to not give any feedback force when pushing down. I understand they are FBW so i wont feel any engine feedback through the pedal.

I can only imagine there would be a spring you can replace by a stronger one.

tightening the pedale might also make it stuck to the floor ;)

im not entirely sure im with you on the "feedback through the pedal" thing when talking about a throttle - you wont ever get any feedback cable or otherwise as there is nothing really acting against the throttle body butterfly all you are doing is opening and closing a flap

you wont get feedback in the same way you can feel loss of grip etc through a brake pedal

as feedback i mean there is no pushing back against my foot as in it pushes down very easily where i prefer a stiffer pedal.
