Chopped plates and de badge...

Car  Suzuki Swift Sport
Was a bit bored at the weekend, so fitted new plates and got rid of the clio badge :)

looks tasty that pal, are the rear plates legal like that?

Technically maybe not - however the spacing is correct all the way round - we once had a scooby stolen with short plates, the police commented on them and said they werent sure whether they were legal or not!

And yes fronts are chopped too -

Not bad at all that:cool: I'm not 100% convinced on the cup spoiler on them though.

Lookin forward to your £30 Fine ??? looks good though :)

The plates look standard to me, apart from being cut down, providing he has left an 11mm gap from the edge of the letters to the edge of the plate he'll be fine.

How could u not see it looks like a space ship lol

front is safe side profile cool but behind is awful looking
Tell ya those 197's baywatch from the front crimewatch from behind

was there holes under the badge? i wanna remove mine when i eventually get it :dapprove:

No there were no holes under the badge, I just heated it up with a hair dryer to soften the glue and it just fell off! (be careful not to get it too hot!)

I may get fined... but Ive had chopped plates for the last 6 years and had no problems, I even got stopped in my last car and told off for window tints but they never mentioned the plates!

I also have not been sure about the cup spoiler - however its been a grower!

cup spoiler makes it look miles better :rasp:

Stunning... If I was to get a 197 it would look very similar to this one

2nd that, there's nothing wrong with them at all, as you say border's correct as is the spacing, looking good Nick! The spacing on the ones Nick did for me on the other hand are a little suspect officer

But for the amount of miles it does I think we'll be OK.

Never hand any trouble with legally spaced ones though

Good work Nick
