what 172 colour

right im wanting a 172 within the next 2 months but a just dont no which colour or type to get:S i realy wanted a 172 cup but with it being my second car i reckon im gunna need a.b.s. and if i was 2 get an ff what colour do i go for because i like so many i change my mind everyday more or less:quiet: i need some help in making a deffo descision so any help would be much apprecated.:approve:

thats the thing a didnt even like that colour until i saw 1 wif anth turinis and i just couldnt help but love it
 
is it a major factor if yes a think am gunna forget the cup for my second car and play safe (for now lol)
 
Monaco is nice, i have a monaco ph1:), buffed up its fantastic. But also flame red is very nice.

BTW in your first post you've put 172 FF, change it else Rollo gets angry;)
 
Why does everyone assume that because it has no ABS its dangerous?

Dont drive like a priick at busy times of the day and at "pub-closing time" and you should be good to go.

Ph1 172 ftw...
 
Monaco blue, is the best colour. Cups are great, but bear in mind the lack of abs (I know it's not very 'manly', but when driving family etc I'd rather have the safety net), and they can be more difficult to insure. I know of a mint monaco for sale, with Recaro's;)
 
^^Nope, not 172! iceburg, monaco, pearl and flame only. You probably seen a 182 in liquid < lush!

Ph1 172 Came in Sunflower Yellow best colour for Ph1 Imo Ph2 Monaco Blue although im biased lol, Looks mint in the sun

i PXed my 172 flammer in march and it must be on a used lot some place as it not been re-registered yet.

i dont like black 1#2 as you have to be within meters of the car before you can tell it a 1#2 not a 1.2.
 
The lack of ABS on Cups is overhyped IMO.

As said, as long as you don't drive like an idiot and realise that it'll take you a bit longer to stop, especially in wet / icy conditions, then just account for this in your driving and how much space you leave between cars.

I never said it was dangerous, I simply pointed out it doesnt have ABS and when asked if that was a major issue told him it depended on him.

For experienced drivers with experience of cars without ABS I agree, for young lads taking the step into their first hot hatch I think they need to be fully aware of it and what it can mean!

I do i do . Do miss the old girl sholud not have sold her :( :( :( But then i love my ATR and is the best car i have ever had :) :) :) ........ But i do miss the Clio.

Yeah but i bet you dont miss fixing her lol, i came from a Honda to a Renault. You dont relaise how solid the Honders are until you compare it to a Reno (still love the clio tho:D :D :D )
 
i was thinking this before i posted that i was looking for a 172 FF.
I have decided to go for the silver (iceburg) as i have always wanted a silver motor, they dont show up the dirt as much and they look very nice when clean!!
i plan to eventually either get some black turinis or anthrite 182 alloys and lowered. should look mint!

That is true i still get in it and everything works a/c no rattles ???????? but i would never have a bad word to say about my old 172 ( as you can prob tell) great car had many fun times in it :) :) :) :) :) :)
 
There is a 'rare' Sunflower Phase 1 on ebay at the moment.

My 172 is in Sunflower but i like the original look !

For phase 2 i like the Monaco.
 
The dark blue on the ph1 which isnt monaco but might as well be is fit, as is sunflower yellow, as is flame red. on a ph2 though mondial blue all the way tbh
 
I like them all, don't really have a favourite, but imo, Monaco is the most boring. But I don't like blue cars.
 
thanx for all the help guys im goin 2 test drive a cup and a ff at the dealer on sat so we will see what the verdict is then lol
