Ive got loads of cloths an now some or all need a wash i would say but i know so many people say do not use this that an the other.
So how the hell do you wash your microfibres?
surly you dont use them till they die and then throw them away.
not that I use softener, what does fabric softener do to the cloths to kill them?
I use ecoballs, they use these crystals inside plastic balls with holes in and mean you dont have to use powder / tabs. Pretty good for the environment and can be used like 1000 times (but they were about £30)
Same reason you shouldn't wash towels with conditioner.
Quick tip, if you drop any microfiber pick off all the bits you can before you wash, any organic stuff will work itself into the cloth during the wash and then they're buggered.
Wash microfiber towels with small amounts of liguid detergent; do not use powder as it is possible for undissolved scratch causing powder particles to remain in the towel.
Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Air drying is preferred as intense heat is bad for microfiber towels.
Washing at a high temperature makes the microfibers expand, releasing trapped dirt and microparticles.
washing machine with as many differnt powders liquid combinations possible, well thats what i do and they come out uber clean and soft, mrs flipped out last time i had about 30 of them in the wash.
Fabric softeners coat the fibres to make them softer, meaning they don't work as well/at all. The idea of the MF is that they contain hooks that 'grab' the dust and polish etc. The 'slippery' coating that makes the softener work counteracts this.
