Best plush ones, hand wash with Woolite.

Normal ones machine wash with liquid detergent, no fabric softener in the machine.

not that I use softener, what does fabric softener do to the cloths to kill them?

I use ecoballs, they use these crystals inside plastic balls with holes in and mean you dont have to use powder / tabs. Pretty good for the environment and can be used like 1000 times (but they were about £30)

Just chuck them in on a normal wash, by themselves with no fabric conditioner & not a lot of detergent.

As above, but don't use Woollite with microfibre waffle weaves as it tends to make them waterproof.

Same reason you shouldn't wash towels with conditioner.
Quick tip, if you drop any microfiber pick off all the bits you can before you wash, any organic stuff will work itself into the cloth during the wash and then they're buggered.

Do not iron.

Wash microfiber towels with small amounts of liguid detergent; do not use powder as it is possible for undissolved scratch causing powder particles to remain in the towel.

Do not use bleach or fabric softeners. Air drying is preferred as intense heat is bad for microfiber towels.

Washing at a high temperature makes the microfibers expand, releasing trapped dirt and microparticles.

What's the best way of cleaning the velour-type MF cloths for glass and those little lens cloths for the camera? :)

washing machine with as many differnt powders liquid combinations possible, well thats what i do and they come out uber clean and soft, mrs flipped out last time i had about 30 of them in the wash.

Aye, washing machine is usually safe enough. Otherwise, if you are worried in anyway Trev, try hand washing them.

I use non bio liquid to wash my microfibres.

Out of interest... why shouldn't you use Softener on microfibres?

Fabric softeners coat the fibres to make them softer, meaning they don't work as well/at all. The idea of the MF is that they contain hooks that 'grab' the dust and polish etc. The 'slippery' coating that makes the softener work counteracts this.
