Standard Headlight: Whats Missing?

yes, i know there is no bulb, but is everything present here, cant seem to figure how the holder locks into place :S

You just push it down and screw it into place I think.

grab the plastic flap and push it down into the hole lining up the flappy bits then twist it, it should only go one way. Will turn nearly 90 degrees.

Done.

yeah, tried that

dosent seem to 'lock' in....just falls out.......im guessing the blub needs to be there, to make it a tighter fit?

You lining up the flappy bits correctly ? maybe the thin metal clips need bending a little bit. Or maybe your missing something i have only dont it be "feel" never took the headlight out

yeah, it twists in (only fits one way because of the shape).....the two flaps are meant to lock in under the two brass screws....they turn and feel like its in....but if you touch it, just comes back out like its not a tight fit

maybe it needs the bulb on it and then it wont sit as far down, so will be a tighter fit against the brass screws bit?

I remember on my 1.2 them bulbs were a right b*****d to fit. Ended up driving home once with one lose pointing up in the sky because i couldnt get it to sit right and was in a rush.

Need the bulb to space it out to make it pinch iirc.
