Anyway is this any good?

Looks like a silverline with a diffrent name I would advise if you dont have much experiance of rotartys you should practise on a scrap panel first before going near your car.

1200w its probably more powerful than the car lol. Plenty of power but its a rotary so be careful!

i use the 1200watt Silverline, great machine......

one word of advice, bin the backing plate that comes with the unit and get yourself over to Clean your car, Tim will sort you with all the gear you need.....

the thing to remember if using the Rotary is to always check the area being corrected regular, you dont want excessive build up of heat. Prime the pad first, i use Last touch.

the other option is the Megs G220, this has just had a revamp. very hard to do any real damage with these, but the correct will take longer...

A Rotary spins on one axle/orbit, a dual action spins in a number of orbits/axles...

Rotarys are better for defect removal, due to the heat they produce...

Before you have a go on your car you need to get some practice in with the speeds. And make sure you use the right polishes.

Ive got a silverline blue, with sonus backing plates.

Rotarys are hard for working the polish down, if your under experienced like me you end up with trail buffer lines because im too scared to work down the polish, Ive got it pretty much sussed now and im happy with the results.

Get a better more flexible backing plate. The one it came with isnt very good.

Thats out of stock though lol, so you can find it somewhere else, or could wait.

well ive not bought it yet but its being held for me its only 50 squid would it be worth gettin a friend round who does detailing to show me the basics n tell me were im going wrong?

Not really true, fairly easily to get strike through with any machine.
