Clutch change, how much $$ ?

how much for a OEM clutch + parts needed and how much labour (when engine is already half out for exhaustmanifold and cambelt+cams change) ??

erm i bought mine for £25 on ebay then my mate sourced a cable out for me too then he fixed, altogether for £130 i think.. thats mates rate .. i hope!

iirc ktec racing charge £400 for a new one fitted.

wow.. :dapprove: but yep this is a price where they have to start from scratch ofcourse.. lot of work to be done. My car will have the exhaustmanifold off and cambelt will be done so a lot of the 600 price will already be in the labour to get to manifold and cambelt .

Because the car has around 40k on the clock i think it's best to do the clutch while we're at it ??
Clutch still feels rocksolid though, not gripping up high on the pedal; still grips nice and low..

Your choice. If you can afford it, then get it done, if not then dont bother. If your having cambelt done etc...then would be easier to do an engine out job for clutch as well..
