kwikfit rate?

Hey all dead simple one.

(sorry if wrong section - mods move if needed)

As some of you may know I bought a 172 in august and the previous owner fitted what looks like a trombone on the back of my car, honestly the back box is awful!! anyway i just wanted to take it back to standard and then maybe look at a ktec after xmas.

Anyways i've got the standard exhaust system ready to go (everything from cat back needs to be replaced)

usually I take my car to a mechanic i trust but he aint open on Saturdays so im gunna throw it in kwikfit 2moro. I wreckon i could change it myself but my ramps arnt looking so trustworthy at the minute.

Does anyone know Kwikfits hourly rate or how much they charge for a simple exhuast change (taking into account maybe some brackets and paste needed)

I really dont understand some people on here. The time it took you to type that, you could have called and got the answer.

same old same old. i thought this forum was for questions?! i rang kwikfit this morning to book it in but forgot to ask. i only wanted to know if anyone might know the cost.

Same old, same old? Youve only been here 2 months! lol..

Well if you phoned this morning, then its very easy to call back as you have the number and also, if youve already booked it in, does it matter if I say its going to cost £1 or £100 as youve already decided to get it done?

Fair enough use the forum and ask questions etc, but try helping yourself? Or we'll just have threads of "I cant find the price for beans in Tesco, how much are they?"

So true though, it'd take a couple of minutes to call up and get an accurate price rather than to wait for people to reply with a price you might not be able to get.
