How many miles for £10?

Car  dCi 65 + C2 (<Sold)
I get 100, that's not me driving economically or foot planted, just normal driving.

I drive a 1.2 8v, what do you guys get?

I always got 100 out of my 1.2 16v.
Petrol was about the same price as it is now.
Larger engine is feeling thirsty these recent weeks :(

according to my trip computer it should give me about 80 miles, in reality, its probably more like 65 or less...

My 182 with bodies and cams does about 60 max on ten quid :) its goes down to equivalent to 1 lap of the nurburgring wen im there tho!! 12 miles lol

anything from 70-139.

My mpg if i'm just around town doing about 30 miles a week atm is about 30mpg but on the motorway being careful I managed 56.3 MPG over 90 miles so to £10 I'd do 139 miles.

I've also stripped the boot of spare tyre, jack, boot carpet, parcel shelf and lots of other junk. It's helped a tad but not much.

tbh i dont know on my motor, Fill it up everytime but i usaully go through that in 4-5 days as just go work and back but working in central london its bumper to bumper anyway.. Do about 20 miles per day which is pants.. Got 24.7 mpg on the clock now lol but on the motorway going Coventry last week i got an amazing 40.1 but i was driving like a 80yr old

I only ever fill it right up as i hate going to petrol stations.

well, I averaged 90-100 miles to £10 in my 172 when I went to ktec.. as above, rarely put as little as £10 in, usually £35 ish fills mine over the full mark on the gauge.

I don't let the light come on though usually, fill up as I hit the one above last notch on the gauge

normal driving, 60-70, most the time lately, 30-45 lol

no idea why my foot has become heavier.

we probably can't, but, if your light comes on, you put £10 in, then drive until the light comes on again, noting how much the fuel costs, you could more or less get it right.. no?

Im a student, but i always fit mine right up!

370 miles to a tank. With a 1.2 v8.

fill car up. Note mileage, use tank. Fill up again, keep receipt showing fuel in. Note mileage again at fill up. Shows you how many litres you've used to cover x miles. 1 uk gallon = 4.54609 litres. I average 34 mpg, so with fuel at 88.9p i think i've calculated £10 will get me 75 miles. How bored was I?

I did a very rough experiment on my other car last year with the difference between filling up with £10 of fuel vs £20.

Got a extra 30 miles with the 20 quid fill up.
