Running probs - error message

Stick the cat back on for all the grief it's giving you...Decat doesn't do a huge ammount on the overall scale!
 
Hmm... normally that happens when the sensor is plugged in!

This is the problem with being a trail blazer kev ;)

Next step imo is but the CAT back in and see if that solves all the problems. If it does, thats your answer, if you still have running issues then check the wiring going to the back of the precat is connected right and no breaks, if thats ok then change the pre cat lamda.

TBH its probably just the precat lamda is wither broken or the connection on the back of it, I am jsut suggesting the things to try that are free first.
 
Shud be round the bottom of the exhaust manifold sumwhere

So bout half way up lol

You left it plugged in though, yeah?

Removing it from the connector will deffo bring on the msg.....

just as the down pipes go into the first cat its screwed in on the top - a bit awkard to see from either above or below

Been told that you cant have these out of the cat tied up really as the tip of the probe reaches circa 250 deg celcius??????
 
:S Well thats how people roll on the 1*2s. As I said mate, its a bit of an unknown still on 197s how to get round these issues

Aye, I think the cahp got confused as he said it has a ceramic end and heats, but that sounds like the pre cat to me as the post cat has a metal tip!!
