yeah i heard that standard was better but wasnt sure. Plugs need changing ether way so didnt know if it would be worth getting some per4mance ones.

misfires, poor performance.

if you have to stay NGK and get the laser iridium.

but you might as well save the money and put it toward something that will actually gain horsepower.

if you have a cat, stick to platinums. If you've de-catted, plain old Copper core NGKs (BCPR6ES) are MUCH cheaper and perfectly fine for the job

I am using Denso Iridium in my 172 cup and Bosch Super 4 in my 182,
not had any problems.

I think i'll just fit them and see how it goes.

My car feels like its misfiring sometimes, when idling the whole car shakes.

Has anyone seen those Pulse Plugs £25 each :S

Any experience of those Danny??

lol.

How about the shaking car, could it be misfiring or the 'High state of tune NA Engine rough idling' i've been told about??

Stick with the standard plugs, I use to test so called performance spark plugs when i worked for champion spark plugs and its a load of crap they put on the box!!! Unless you have tuned your engine, if you have you could look at a different heat range. otherwise just stick with the standard item

I just changed mine for Denso Iridium, not noticed any difference and I didn't put them in for any difference, just a better quality sparkplug - I heard a lot of rave about them in the past in other cars and thought I'd give them a go.

From what I've heard they melt quickly as well.

They didn't solve my missfire problem but that could be down to the oil pissing out the top of the engine down the sparkplug ports.

If I were to buy more - which I probably will in 6 months - I'll probably stick with the NGK's but a decent set like triple spark or platinum or something.
