Stealth time

My standard exhaust seems to be leaking somewhere. When it's cold it is fine but when it warms up it's pretty loud. Have to have the radio on 25 lol.

I'm thinking about going down the stealth route and like the decat idea but is there anyway of having a quiet decat?

Are the stealth exhausts quietish?

I had a powerflow stealth, which sounded not stealth, and deffo looked very unstealth.

I now have a prospeed stealth on there, and its absolutely perfect. No motorway drone. No loud boomy-ness.

Very near standard, but it wont fall to pieces and cry. Hopefully.

What are the Yozza stealths like?

I prefer raspy to boomy but I don't want it to bwarrrrp when I put my foot down lol.

Reading that has just made me chuckle:D

Not raspy/throaty would do. I spend a lot of time at 60mph so not intrusive!

Any exhausts I should be looking at?

My mate has a Miltek on his but it's not raspy really.

I don't want to hear it booming when i'm doing 60mph +

Aren't the K-Tecs quite loud though?

My Powerflow looks perfectly stealth and also sounds about as loud as the standard one but nicer. Depends where you get them done and what you ask for imo.

I like the sound of the Yozzasport stealth.

Shame there does not seem to be many video clips of this exhaust!

I could do with hearing a K-Tec on a standard 172 really.

If I got it and hated it I would be devastated lol.

K-tec steath .. de-catted is ok .. quiet when not under load, but nice and loud (and actually sounds pretty damn good) when being nailed !

You can always get a silenced de-cat...

Deffo, The one that was on mine was on the car when it was bought.

The mounts were shagged so it low down, didnt sound bad tho. Just a bit annoying on the motorway

I heard that if you decat the stealth actually gets deeper?

How do silenced de-cats work compared to normal ones? How easy is it to chuck the cat on for MOT's and the like?? What impact do they have on the MPG?

Anybody got a de-catted yozza stealth?
