Temperature display

My clio 172 doesn't display the temperature next to the clock Can this be turned off or is it the obvious that the sensor isn't working?

The sensor is in one of the wing mirrors, I cant remember which side on the Mk2 but its driver side on the Mk3. Its either a faulty sensor or loose connection.

iirc passenger side on MK2 172's, £30 part to replace.

Mines broken too.

Mines seems to be broken too as it doesnt display the temperature.

Will these fit the 1.2 16v Mk2 aswell (passenger side)?

For some reason i have a sensor on each mirror, sam aka bonxy pointed it out to me at the ne meet as id never noticed it.
