Tinting rear lights

Car  ?
Has anyone on here done it? Can you recommend any decent tint sprays?
I just want a very light smoked look, like some vauxhalls have.
Any advise?

I just got some from an auto-shop, they sell it on eBay too (it has a picture of an old Beamer on the can). Don't forget to wet sand it down and use clear coat enamel to protect it.

800 would be fine to be honest mate. You can also try regular black body paint, worked on mine no problems. just remember to do light coats

i've always used that savage stuff.. seems to work well 4 me. build it up gradually and take ya time wen doin it :) ... ebay by the way.

I like every doing it properly, but seriously this took 30 mins with a halfords rattle can and a coat of laquer:

theres also a tint similar to window tint that can put on lights.. i had my old car done with these.. stil allows to be legal, let the same amount of light thru.. and looks spot on!

i used Autostyle tinting spray in a rattle can, without sanding, i only cleaned the lights properbly.
