Alright m8 ive had same problem, i changed the sensor £21 from dealers, its an easy fit it goes on the thermostat housing an u can get to it without takin anythin else out its got 2 wires goin 2 it an think its a 22mm spanner you need but dont quote me on that lol if ur quick in with the new one you shouldnt loose 2 much coolant but i would still get the engine up 2 temp leavin the lid off the filler and then leave it 4 a few mins 2 get rid of any air locks created. This fix kinda sorted the problem on mine but its still sittin just below half under normal conditions so now im changin thermostat as well £15+ 'O' ring. Urs could just be the sensor though? If ur lucky!
