Virtua Tennis 2009.

Anybody else played it or got it?

I always have a blast on the Virtua Tennis in the arcade so decided to rent it on the 360.

My question is, in season mode I win one of the amatuer tournaments but only move up about 1 or 2 places in the rankings. Its getting kind of boring and I only have it until Saturday. Is there any quicker way to move up so I can kick Murrays ass.

I haven't lost a game yet. Just progress seems to be really slow. Only played it for about 2 hours last night but only up to about 92 in the Amatuers.

I like the training games though, they are a good laugh.

I loved VT3, so bought this, but also bought Forza 3 and Fifa 10 within days of each other, so have only played VT09 once. Seemed the same as 3, just a little more difficult?

its absolute horseshit imo, far too slow to progress in career, far too easy, i (eventually) got to no.1 in the world and had not lost a match, or a game in fact!

Also why cant you play a match in career with more than 3 games a set??

top spin 3 is so much better.

Didn't quite get into 09 really, aint many better multiplayer games than VT3 though. Court games can get a tad repetitive but doubles is really addictive.
