Ive googled beyond belief and can not find out why the NSX model has different rims.

Very Nice? Have you Googled pics of the ring test NSX?
Would be very plausible that they used different wheels for testing on the ring?
Or maybe it is manufacturing error?

they ran out of nsx wheels in the tiny little honda factory?
