K4M 1.6 Low idle

Car stalls when cold on starting, but will just idle when warm.

Idle is around 400rpm but it still fairly smooth.

Shagged ISCV?

remove throttle body, clean with brake cleaner or carb cleaner (same shiz) wak it back on and wala!

Is the K4m the 8v?

If so I had identical problem. Idle control valve soaked in brake cleaner, blown out with an air line and good as new after!

Aren't they meant to idle around 6-700?

cant remember off the top of my head but they do idle really low i always think ive stalled it when i get into it because im used to the diesel

Mine idles really low, 600ish after a few mins warming up.

Well at the moment the idle isn't even registering on the tacho so it must be sub 400!

It runs fine the rest of the time except you have to rev it and hold it at 2k when starting it from cold untill it'll idle.

Nah its my GF's. I still have the saxo. Although i may swap the VTS for a 1.6 clio. VTS does 33mpg and the Clio does 45mpg!
