Which engine/ gearbox mount?

Was getting quite a bad knocking sound so i replaced the top engine mount on the drivers side. It fell apart when taking it off lol.

Now theres a new noise. Sounds like an induction roar. very pronaounced between 2-3k rpm. And a nice knock when coming up off the clutch from high revs after a gear change.

Anybody know which one needs replacing?
Gearbox or that twisted digbone one?

Dogbone one helped me alot with that vvvvVVVVV noise.

Cheap to do out of all the mounts.

Better response too mate.

i have the same problem is there a lower gear box mount

Did you fit an OEM mount? I have a suspicion I need to replace mine too.

i bought them from eucar parts .and only fitted to weeks ago car felt amazing after ,,i have changed dogbone mount ,and engine mount on the left i take it thats the top engine mount and the mount under the battery .,.is that it just 3 mounts or is there more ..my engine is rocking like hell and the gear stick rocks as my enigne hits what ever its hitting but my car drives nice if i dont rag it but its there and it seems like a big problem tbh ,..,??????

The euro car parts one isn't very good. The Boise got worse and worse so I bought a renault top mount and it's fixed it. Euro car parts one can't be as stiff.
