Euro Car Parts, Few Questions!

Seen a few parts for my ph1 on their site which are considerably cheaper than Renault and a few other places.

Valeo clutch same as Reno's £75 cheaper.

Oil pump (not sure on make) £140 cheaper.

I know quite a few people are scepticle about non genuine alternatives but surely the new oil pump must be better than the 10 year old one thats done 95k miles!

Think i know where i'l be putting my money!

I'm astonished, as my mate said to me today, most of the parts are the exact same as OE but in different packaging!

Oil pump and clutch alone are well over £400, so £313 for:

Front Pagid discs/pads
NGK plugs
Oil pump
Water pump
Valeo clutch
Clear side repeaters

Seems to be uber impressive!

Get a mate with an account to buy em, might aswell pay you, lol. You can specify a budget item or an OE spec one and even then, the OE spec one is still ridiculously cheap.

GSF are good as well, and we get a club discount i think. for such a large company, ECP can seem a bit shambolic sometimes (not had as much trouble with GSF, but they all have their moments) - my local ECP shop counter can be a nightmare

the parts are usually fine, but there are some component/manufacturer combos that you learn to avoid (there was a thread about this recently - think Fred and sidewaysDanny were commenting)

ECP and GSF sell OE quality parts and cheaper alternatives, but do tell them which one you want. As said before OE parts are the same as from the main dealers but in different boxes.

phone your local one. i phoned mine to day with looking for alot of the parts you want for yours and where there was an alternative they asked whether i want oem or cheap.
