AA or RAC should be able to get the door open for you. Its probably not best for someone to post on an open forum how to break into a clio!
after driving, yes.Doesn't the door auto lock after a certain period of time? Maybe he left keys on seat or something and shut the door and forgot?
I managed to do this once when working on my sisters Clio.
Had it on stands and wheels off then turned the engine on and put it in gear. As I shut the door I knew what I had done.
Got it open the way iimushroomzii said. Pull the top of the passenger door open about an inch and wedge it with a bit of wood. Then get a long garden cane and push the unlock button on the dash.
I didn't actually think this was possible on a std mk2!
after driving, yes.
did you not damage the door?
No it was fine. Just dont pull the door to hard.
Nick managed it at FCS, the car auto locked whilst stationary for no reason at all.
He missed his track time too!![]()
Cover the window in gaffa tape before you smash, saves it going everywhere. £1 for gaffa tape, £0 for a brick of a nearby falling wall, £20 for glass, cheaper than the aa!

Bending door out, pressing button... free..

You'll need to use a coathanger or similar to drag them out.
Remember though, it's not a race.
Rush, and you'll crash and burn.
Shirley its easier to just hit the button on the dash rather than try hook the damn keys?
