Central Locking

Pretty much, some of them are better than others. Only thing to try is to change the battery in the key.

My 1.2 was useless, about 6ft as you say. The 1.6 and 172 were far better more "normal" so to speak range wise.

sounds like i'm taking the pi55, and you might look a bit silly, but try holding the remote by your head and then click it. It works - Fact!!!

First thing I tried, its meant to amplify the signal but doesnt work for me in this case!

A question, why the f**k do you need to lock/unlock your car from 20m away? Have you got really long arms?

Just what I was wondering - surely you car doesn't need to be unlocked until you get there. And as for locking it's a good idea to still be close enough to know for sure that it has actually locked.

Early car alarms you could use really far away but then criminals started to use those code grabber type things. A short range was seen as being better (although I don't think that matters anymore - the code changes each time doesn't it :S )

My car is parked at the end of my garden, about 15m away. Thats why!!!!
