Cant see the clock on the centre console unless i switch lights on

Cant see the clock on the centre console unless i switch lights on ?

Is this a fault or are they suposed to do that im unsure if ive ever noticed before.

Anyideas?

I don't really know about the ph2's but my ph1 has a dimmer for the clocks/clock etc... which has two settings, one is for when the lights are on, the other for when they are off. Basically with the lights on, twist the dimmer to when you're happy, then the same with them off for the centre console clock etc.

Might be a fuse - does your headunit still work?

I don't know yet not got a headunit i'n ?

The dimmer is down by the ESP and Cruise Control buttons, but it only controls the brightness when the lights are on.

Yes located that but no display still untill i switch lights on

I saw a trophy outside a few days ago.

If theres no headunit in then I suppose you can just presume it isnt working at the moment and check the fuse, Ive had 2 blow on me - one fuse controls the headunit and display but the display still came on with lights as it is with yours

BTW the fuses are on the end of the dash passenger side and the guide / key is on the cover that pulls off - i think your looking for the one thats a music symbol
