197 inlet set up

hi all.

Seen a few people fitting the 197 inlets to their 172/182's. My questions are:

1. what do you need to fit one (any extras)
2. Are there any gains from it over the original inlet.
3. How much are they? cant seem to find one.

Gez,
1) you need the inlet. Make new holes to screw the 197 inlet on the head, some mutching with the head, injectors from 197 and you will find big problem with the intake 'cause throtlle body point's at the ecu ... And do some mods under the hood.

2) Must be... is shorter and have massive larger inlets than 1*2. But anyhow i haven't found my gains yet ...

3) I don't know uk prices but i bought it 700€ from my country

That is just the manifold on your living room floor, nevermind the extensive costs that would be involved with the fitting.
