Genuine Renault splitter or Skoda splitter?

Hi guys, as above, my new 182 doesnt have one, so will need to get one ASAP

Does anyone have any pictures of the Skoda splitter fitted to theirs?

Also whats the fitment like on these?

Thanks

Think you will find a lot of people recommending the Skoda one as it looks good and it is a damm sight cheaper than the one from Renault.

Renault is best, but it's not over £110 more better than the skoda one.

I marginally prefer the look of the Renault one and I paid £111 for mine new off eBay. However when you can pick up a Skoda one from Skoda or VW for £12 and they're nowhere near as stupidly brittle plastic, then I'd go with the Skoda one everytime - that's what I'm sticking with now.

The other thing to think about is weather your car is lowered much? If its decked you might aswell go with the cheaper one incase you smash it on a speed bump or somthing. I'm in the same boat but I'm at standard ride height (well cup suspension) so I'm half tempted to go for a Ktech carbon fibre one or standard renault one.

i think the renault one looks alot better in the flesh than the skoda one does to be honest. just alot more money.

Just got the car so its at the standard height, max lowering will be sportlines so speed bumps wont be a factor really.

Think I will just go for the Renault one, since I'm going for the standard look with this car :)

I went for a brand new renault one - I always said if I broke more than one I'd end up with a skoda one!

skoda every time for me! would never pay silly money for a renault one.
the skoda one doesn't look too different and has a little give in it so it shouldn't crack/shatter/explode like the cup ones do.

this is mine. you just have to cut a couple of inches off each end and screw it on, dead easy!
excuse the dirty car

Orderd my skoda splitter today £11 or sumthing it cost me skoda FTW !!!

i just masking taped the splitter in place, drilled the first tiny pilot hole in the spoiler (centre of the bumper) and through into the lip of the bumper. then got a 10mm non rust screw in the hole. and repeated it, working towards the ends of the splitter. then marked the bit on each end that needed cutting off to finish flush with the wheel arches, unscrewed and removed the splitter and cut it with a sharp stanley knife. then just screwed it back on again.

any little screws should be fine to be honest.

I like the CF one, despite the hate for it on here. Doesn't get as fucked as people make out either ime, mine still cleans shiny despite the lower pic :)

im sure there is a quick guide to fitting one on here too somewhere, but its pretty much what i have just said.

Skoda ones looks just as good as the Renault one! :). But the carbon one looks better, but breaks easy and alot more expensive then the skoa one! :(.
