another ipod connection thread..

im new to this so not really sure but im looking to get my iphone connected to my standard head unit. this is mines..

would i need the connects2 or will an Aux In cable do?

alternatively, for a few more quid you could probably get a 1/2 decent replacement HU. Although it'd then cost a few more to keep the stalks and display working.

I have the 'Aux' setting when I press and hold the 'Expert' button so for £12 I'll give the simple cable a go. if not then I'll go for the connects2. thanks.

True aux in is a much better option, youd be stupid to get an itrip for more

got hold of an Aux In cable and fitted it today, works perfect. just to figure out where to have the cable coming from, the now its down the back of the dash and out through the ash tray.

That's where mine is! The little orange circle pops out and mine comes through there!
