big problem

ok ive just gone out to my car to park it up so i can fix the hole in the backbox. put the key in and turned it, and nothing ! no noise at all. im thinking battery is dead but i dont know how. was running fine yesterday, didnt leave anything on and the battery looks quite new. also noticed that theres now a flashing light on the dash think its the electrical warning light

flashing light on dash is ur immoboliser . your key might be FUBAR! happend to me. try your spare 1 n let me know how it goes

the flashing warning light is the electrical fault light . im having probs with my speedo aswell and it comes on when its not working but thats static and now its flashing fast. i doubt its the fubar thing whatevere it is lol, as its just a key no button on it (no central locking) i presume thats what it is anyway

the red light flashing franticly is defonetly your immoboliser. even if you dont have central locking, your key will still have a chip inside it to start the car. the key will have lost its immoboliser code. TRY THER SPARE KEY LOL!

its not the red light, its the electrical fault light and its yellow, never said it was red pmsl anyway ive only got one key

not my car btw but its the light in the middle
problem solved now i think lol battery was flat as a pancake , got a jump start and seems fine now
