Drives and looks superb with the f*uck off great scratch down the front wing.

Looks like a dog mate, and with a sunroof I'd not even bother going to have a look.

What gets me is he doesn't even mention the damage in the description. It's also got some dodgy Sport badge above the boot handle. Thrashed to within an inch of its life no doubt.

Sigh, ive been looking for a week now for a car about 1k for the Mrs, she wants a clio, nothing absolutley nothing, everything that looks ok has been sold. I need it by next weekend or her insurance laps as we scrapped her old car a month ago.

Maximum 1k. Clio
Engine size?
Long shot but Automatic any good?
Clio, any age, any engine but not a 2ltr, no automatics, FSH preferable, over 100k is ok. Shes a lady drive but she can give it stick every now and again :)

Ive checked autotrader, pistonheads, ebay all the usual and just cant find anything that fits the bill (Thats not sold)

Why do you (she) want a (non-RenaultSport) Clio and nothing else ?

If it was my money, I'd look elsewhere, or get a dCi. Even then, finding one that isn't a shed is hard work these days, and they're far from gremlin free anyway.

Well the other option is a KA, shes not interested in a Punto, Corsa or Fiesta

Any of the ones I sent you via PM ;)

Clio's have a better 4* NCAP .. but it's all lab tests so can't be taken as gospel.

Things not to do ..: Crash.

Honestly dude, I've no idea. Check every advert going and just see what sticks !

I don't like the new Ka's let alone the old ones and I'm employed by The Blue Oval.

Going back to the Clio in the original post, that "damage" looks like just a reflection to me, the vehicle is wet. Photo's don't lie but they can be misleading! Worth emailing the seller to ask?

It's hard to say with that picture, You may be right. I've tried to zoom in but the picture res is s**te so you can't tell for sure. Wetting the car is one of the oldest tricks in the book when selling a used car.

It won't hurt sending him a message asking him for some better pictures, and letting him know that in the picture it looks like the front wing is scratched.
