Head Unit Keeps Sliding Out?

  Clio 1.2 16v
I have a 1.2 clio 2, I bought it with an aftermarket Head Unit in thats some obscure make I've never herd of and when I accelerate it slides out, anyone know how to stop this, its currently wedged in with folded up receipts :dapprove:

is it clipping into its cage correctly? are the wires at the back pushed out of the way? and have you fitted the locating bung on the back?

I didn't fit it, I bought the car about a month ago and it came with this in, I have no idea about stereos at all. Was only asking for some help as I don't have a clue..

It needs a proper cage.

Imagine you have a lion but you've put him in a cage made from paper. This isn't suitable for a lion and he will escape. Your headunit is the lion.

hahaa just looked it doesnt have a cage, are the cages like universal or anything, because the make is something I've never herd of? would I just be better off to buy a new decent head unit with a cage?

Cheers but I live in manchester, any suggestions of a decent one for around £50?

Save up mate and get a decent one.

My Clio came with some Sony thing and it was awful. Got my Pioneer one in there and it sounds so much better.

It cost me about £250 but it's been in all three of my cars and has lasted me over 7 years!

Iv only been driving 6 months and have gone through about 6 headunits, save the hassle and just go for a kenwood or pioneer!
