Why does it matter when the 5 comes out relating to your contract though, as you will only sell your iPhone privately in order to buy the iPhone 5 if it comes out anyway? Unless you want to change the type of contract with the release of it, eg, going from 12 month to 24 month to get the iphone5 cheap.

I have done mine on 12 months so i can Upgrade from June onwards Just incase anything comes out, on Voda too.

The money has come out of my account, but it still isn't showing on my statement.

Does this mean it's in 'holding' as such, and will show up when it's dispatched? I'm waiting for one payment to Apple to go back in from where I cancelled an order as the website messed up and it processed 2 orders.

Nope. I upgrade. I don't buy it contract-less.

His point is that when the new one comes out you could continue with your regular contract and just sell the existing handset for say £300, buy the new one for £500 and bung your sim in.

Exactly. You could also have a longer/cheaper contract this way too.

I went 02 simplicity, as id rather pay out less each month, and just lump it now.

Otherwise, id have gone 24 month, but chopped in and upgraded myself when the new one came out.

Because the new tarriffs (upon upgrading) can be shite, so this way you get to keep any current tarrif, or even go for a "phone free" tarriff where you get much more for your money.

It can just work out better quite often.

623 somethings, f**k knows what but its double the 4 and not far off the ipad2.

and as for graphics and FPS? Galaxy S 2? Flolocaust, go home Samsung! and look how far the iphone 4 is downthe list!

What amazes me is the 4 is so far down yet we know its an awesome phone and the 4S is so high...

I'll admit the samsung galaxy 2 S is faster than the iphone 4 in alot of ways, did side by side tests with a friend, this thing should be amazing though, its a huge leap.

Could try to update to w/e version that is and you might be on to it then. Just going by what my mate said beside me, haven't tried it as of yet though.

Ordered last Friday, got the £59 cashback offer. Paid £259 for a 16gb and the price has now gone down to £169, you can get a 32gb model for £269 on the same contract? Just been on the Vodafone forums and everyone is going mental.
