Desktop PC for £400.

For my brother. Will be used for storing pictures and internet, won't ever see games.

Build one, you could get a semi-ok one for that, I usually just post a thread up in the general discussion of OcUK for a "spec me thread", always get good results

Look at the Zoostorm computers on ebuyer, they are the best value for money and are cheap enougth to allow a decent monitor, keyboard and mouse to be purchased along side for under £400 easy.

It can be loaded with Ubuntu for free, or Windows 7 for a fee. For images and internet, ubuntu is perfect

I bought a Zoostorm desktop last year, very good home computer imo

Intel Core i5-2400 8GB 500GB DDR3. 64 bit os and it came with windows 64 pro

can't fault it for what i need it to do, it's probably over kill but hopefully it'll last a few years
