Sneak peek - new Auto Finesse 'Glaze' and 'DA Sealant'...

James very kindly sent me some samples of a couple of forthcoming products, a new Glaze for darker colours, and a sealant best applied via DA.


A fellow DW Member asked me if I could give his Jeep a quick spruce up this evening, so we literally spent around 2 hours washing it down then going over the paint with the AF Glaze and Sealant - both applied via DA Polisher.


The results from both amazed us both...


50/50 from the glaze after working for maybe 30 seconds using a 3M polishing pad and DA:

Amazing stuff giving the working time - of course this will be filling a great deal, but for a quick spruce up it's amazing really and leaves the paint surface VERY slick.


We finished up with the DA Sealant and Mint Rims, PERL and Crystal:

quite interested in the new glaze. is it a similar consistency to the sealant and best worked by machine?

It's a bit runnier Dave and best by machine and better on darker cars according to James...

Darker cars, how about flat colour Russ? My Red Moose is coming to an end, so wondering what to replace it with...

Perfect mate - I think it will mute flake to an extent which isn't ideal on lighter metallics, but perfect on your S3

I've been meaning on dropping in at AF before they leave Essex to get a few bits, the glaze is a perfect excuse as I'm still not wowed by EZ creme

Well this car is owned by Paul who used to run Midlands Detailing (very flattering that he trusts me on his car) and we were both stagged by the results in literally 90 minutes or so!
