standard headlight to dual optic headlight conversion

When you get the headlight connectors off, they'll be nothing like the diagram, use this instead.

Just dont listen to the part where it says about the fuse part, there is no bit for the fuse to go in, with mine when full beam came on the dipped beam would go off, it doesnt affect the MOT

This is not true. There is a fuse, and it allows the headlights to stay on with the fullbeams. I'll take a pic if necessary, but it's in the instruction manual which came with the car.

Must alter with spec then, both clio's ive had havent had the connector in there for the fuse, il check the current one in a day or two to see if this one has it :)

Well the OP has a Grande, like me, and mine has it. I have HID's fitted to the dipped beam, so I can't have them flicking off every time I flash someone!

Odd, first car was a 1999 Grande and next was 1998 RN and neither had the connection. They would both come on if I held the full beam switch back without releasing it but then that was just a pain to do.
