Dephaser - ???

Just been quoted 813.08p to have the dephaser replaced by a certain Renault dealer near to Stoke on Trent!!!

Probably about right for the robbing stealers, cannock Renault quoted me £230 to do just the aux kit change!!!

Dephaser, Cambelt kit, aux belt kit all in? That's not massively over the top. But I'd rather go to birchdown/Btm/519.

Just had mine done for the 2nd time by them since i have owned the car (had it 10 years !) Mint job cant fault em at TCR been looking after mine since it was 6 months old . NEVER Had a problem with anything they have done for me .

Try Birchdown they are probably closer, and the will do just as good of job as TCR.

It's a bit annoying really as I bought the car on a whim last year and the dephaser was a bit noisy then but not overly worrying. Had the cambelt, aux belt and pulleys all done 6k miles ago and now looks like it will all need doing again. Which is what the specialists are telling me!!

SO it was noisy when you had the belts done but you didn't get it replaced?! Why??!

We do the job for £560 and am only up the A50 in Long Eaton
