Official CSEA October Meet - Rolling Road Day - Sunday 28th October - FMS

Car  182, SQ7, Trafic
Well it's time for another rolling road day. Rindy at FMS has now moved and is now located near Scholar engines on the A140 just outside of Eye. Should be on for an 8:30-9:00 start I imagine.

Price will be roughly £35 if we can get 10 people. This usually consists of two runs and a little chat about performance etc....

FMS rolling road is usually bang on and reliable as we've seen spot on results of 165-168 on standard 172's and 175-178 on 182's. Even a 1.2 TCE that got 100.2 and book is 100! Rindy is great and will give good advice too if you have any queries.

I will happily open this up to any other makes and models but Clio's will be first, then FWD then RWD. I would also like to see below your car model and what power you would like to see from your car as this makes it easier later on and it's nice to see people's predictions. Please don't post modifications etc.. Just follow as I have below, this is due to hopefully having a PFC magazine feature and keeps it neater and easier for me when editing it all off to them.

Probably. And I left it running whilst sitting in it as it was cold. Then next thing the EML lights was on.

If you run your induction you should gain 10bhp, BTCC technology and that.

Yes mate, it has finally arrived, been waiting nearly a month.

Hope to fit it this weekend and then off for mapping next week, will update the power figure when its done and I have a better idea of what it might make on Rindys rollers.:)

I may still come down to watch but wont be running as I'll be going to Donington Monday eve for Tuesday's track day ;) And knowing my luck.......
 
My car should be built by then, albeit mostly standard, i'm taking a guess based on what Rhys guessed, as mine was fairly close to his when drag racing that was with a slippy clutch (which is now sorted!) But will have a pikey induction kit with Ultra BTCC tech! Also providing my engine is gone by then, ill get an RS Tuner map on it too :)

With supercharger fitted or without?

The Megane crank pulley is a must to stop it from happening. There around £35 new from Renault.
 
With the charger fitted mate, Its being fixed and meg pulley will be fitted also. Should have it back next week.
 
How come you didn't fit it in the first place?

I swear I said its a must? I tell everyone lol!
 
I'm guessing you didn't fit the S/C kit then?

Was it a known company who also did your cams ;)
 
I fitted the charger, the cam belt slipped when the car was being mapped, I have been told it was due to the bottom pulley on the cam belt not being torqued to the correct level. The last people to touch the cam belt were TDF when they done the dephaser and belt change.

Hope they done yours up properly;)
 
Lol I'd imagine they did as I've done 5k.

I thought KTec did it when they done your cams?
