I'd set aside two - three days to do the engine swap. Other people may say it'll be quicker than that but it took me two days with a ramp. It's not too bad, but you have aircon you'll need to get that de-gassed first as it's easier to remove the rad and condenser rather than getting all fiddly...

I have to be totally honest - I'm out of my depth with SQL (I understand the jist of it) Rhys works within the community - although not directly on SQL but I'm sure he'll know some kind of alternative or be able to suggest something for you.

Alcon service? - At that age surely you would have wanted the front callipers serviced? You don't buy these for the speed. If any of you are on ZSOC - go check out a progress thread of one which is Cat C, it's unreal how well the car has been rebuilt - in-fact here are one or two pictures;
