Hi my fuel light came on so I put £40 worth of fuel it the gauge has gone up but the fuels miles thing is Just flashing ----. Any ideas y thanks

hi went to a car parts place today for some oil and when he put in my reg it recomended Castrol Edge 5W40 Turbo Diesel oil is this right? :S thanks
