Mine was doing this. Same screech noise and you could see the PAS pump momentarily stopping with the noise. Noticed this after changing the lower crank pulley for the Pure Motorsports version and a new belt (money lost now).
It was still screeching and had to do an event where used lots of full...
My stuff working well for the money.
If you have no real kit, get by somehow until the half price big kit comes up again. That's why you see so many new items on Ebay, broken up kits, bought on a deal.
I have Prolines now, coming from 182 cup springs. About an inch drop and Prolines are progessive rate, so its not as low as Sportline images above but lower than cup 182. As said above, the bigger quoted drops are for ordinary Clios.
I find them great and still clears any speed cushions/bumps...
I would first spanner check the recently changed parts, especially the wishbones and ARB mounts. These can work a little loose and shift. Happened to mine. Had a random clunk on full left lock. Tightened the one wishbone and sorted.
I can't figure out why it was taken off, but I'm guessing that it wouldn't fit back on and the PO didn't figure out to move or replace the other tired and sagging mounts, so "adjusted" it.
Unless anyone knows why someone would do this?
It's the standard bush from the lower engine mount (dog bone). Notice that the hole has been plugged with aluminium and re-drilled off-centre!
A neat job and an effort and I think I know why or secret tweak. Hence the question if anyone knew the car.
I put LED ones in the fog lights to have a whiter light than tungsten, as I do use them in fog. But as I have now learnt LEDs themselves aren't in the correct position for the reflectors so the beam pattern was shocking! This is why you shouldn't fit LEDs to anything that needs a beam pattern...
Thanks. I had been through the MOT history pages. It's more about anyone who owned or knew the car. Although pretty much a road car there were some interesting bits like this........
When you recognise it, try and figure why do this to it!
Those are standard springs for ordinary Clios. They'll fit a 182 but they are not the right rate/height.
I do have a pair of standard ordinary Clio rear springs free to collector that are only a few years in use if that's what you're after.
I've had OV04XPZ for two years now, and enjoying it. It's clearly had some past/owners, so now I'm curious. The guy I bought it from was a owner for a few months only and maybe couldn't keep her in the manner she demands. So does anyone know any history on my current 182 FF in titanium?
Not too dissimilar to mine. Looks like the front has been off (radiator change?) It won't be a show car, but its what you want to do with it. If it burns no oil, pulls well and the gears all go in OK and no knocks and if no lights on the dash, just enjoy driving it (after the ubiquitous £1k you...
