The battery is fine. Its less than 12 months old. Plus, I havent been having any problems with starting it or anything. As for the spare key suggestion, I havent got one! Mikec172, I can open the doors using the key manually but the alarm will sound and the only way I will be able to kill...

Hi all, Ive just finished washing my car about 20 mins ago and when I went to get in to move it, I couldnt! The key fob wont unlock the doors! Does anybody know what the problem could be and how to fix it as Ive got to get to work tomorrow Cheers, Ben

What grade of oil should I be using in my 96 RSi? Up until now, I have been using Mobil 1 0w-40 but Ive been recommended to use 15w-40. Which would be better and why?

If youre worried about breaking some of the clips when removing the bump strips, just order some spare ones from a Renault dealer. They work out at only 49p each! That way, if you do break the clips when removing your bump strips, it wont cause too much of a problem.

So I would have to change to a phase 1/2 bonnet but I wouldnt have to change my wings??? How much would I be looking at for a phase 1/2 bonnet (brand new or 2nd hand)?

If youre going to lower a car its best to buy a suspension kit rather than be a cheap ass and cut the springs! Its worth spending the money as you will definately see the benefits in the long run. Chopping springs is something Id expect from the Nova crew!

Just thought I would let all know that Ive just collected my car from the body shop and it looks mint. The body shop I eventually took it to did a great job! Now Im off to fit my clusters :D

I knew a lad who had an old Escort. He chopped the springs to make it lower but totally messed up the handling. It bounced all over the place. It was like sitting in a biscuit tin with wheels. Very uncomfortable! DO NOT CHOP THE SPRINGS!!! It is quite dangerous.

If i were to go ahead and have these quads fitted, and i fitted a 16v bonnet, what would be the effects to my engine? By this i mean would any water get into the engine, or would it struggle to start in the cold whether due to the vent on the bonnet. Ive heard the 16v has a water catcher under...
