Mantis: im gonna (try) and make a hybrid gearbox using 1.9 clio and 172 box as the block look similar to the f9q. If thats not possible then ill drill and tap the block to suite...
Ok so i got given a megane 165 with a nackered turbo so i thought it would be a good excuse to turbo my 182 looking up old posts i dont think it will be to hard (famous last words).
Anyway i can get a new 165 turbo charger for about £200 so my question is what power can you get from this setup...

the pre cat one seems to be switching right on the graph but the after cat one is a constant line from cold to hot i dont think any cat is that effiecent lol
hi mate did the job myself (im a mechanic) just got the cambelt kit (£70) as it was all done prior to me buying the car just not very well so i did it again lol
just done my cambelt at weekend checked the dephaser and there was the slightest movement rotation wise is this normal or does it want the dephaser changing cheers
i road tested a 182 with the scorpion exhaust on (not the 192) the normal one and id say it wasnt louder than renault original one but made a much nicer tone infact just ordered one for the car i did buy and only £311 off a company on ebay ill let you know what its like to fit lol
welldone mate looks great i love the little turbo twingos if you take the pipe of the boost recurculator valve it makes a nice woosh noise like a dump valve we did it at work for a laugh got a lot of looks lol
