What its supposed to do is show the oil ok message. If you press the stalk when this is displayed you get the little boxes supposedly telling you how much oil you have. If you leave it alone it goes to the total mileage after a 15 seconds or so.

3 times in 2 years? next time you see it, buy a lottery ticket quick... its your lucky day!

Glad its not just me. Just hope its not the first phase of the computer going completely awol.

Sometimes it refuses to lock when I press the button on the key. What I have to do is... get back in, start the engine, stop the engine, get out & try again. This has always worked (up to now). Only does it once about a month. Anyone else get this too?

Sometimes when I turn the key to get all the ignition lights up, the trip computer display goes straight to the total mileage, rather than showing the oil ok display. Not every time, probably only 25% I would say. The rest of the time the oil ok comes up as it should. Anyone elses do this...

Not sure until I see it in the flesh. Usually if I like a new car/bike in the pics, seeing it for real can be a disappointment. You get to see the ugly bits that they try to hide inth publicity shots. On the other hand, if I dont like a new car/bike in the pics, it nearly always seems to be...
