My 172 has been told to go to the scrapheap in the sky by a local mechanic, he said I can pay him the £150 for collecting it and having a look / diagnosing, or he can scrap it for me to recoup his costs. I am wondering whether it's worth paying the money and scrapping it...

    cool will grab this and cv gaiter then, I'm not sure whether to get the cheapy sparks from ecp compared to some ngk which are listed as £15 per plug :nono: might as well order 4 from ebay for £30! May get some disposable ones though temporarily.
