    Stafford: arctic 182, BG182, ph1 exclusive, various siver 1*2's

There are a few RS Clio's up in Stafford. Not many are on here though.

Bad luck? possible breaking Ph1 172.

@leeds-182, the ground isn't and dipped in the middle of the car. It's all stock suspension and standard ride height. Yeah £120 for a days labour. That's very good!! Lol. Everyone take note of his prices!

You would charge £120 for engine, out, engine in etc? hmmm.

Bad luck? possible breaking Ph1 172.

Been quoted £1200 for new engine and fitting. I think he would rather put that towards a different car, but still staying in Clio ownership :)

Bad luck? possible breaking Ph1 172.

Based in Stafford, the car was on 95k and pulled really well. Gearbox was perfect! Belts were replaced in 2010 iirc.

Bad luck? possible breaking Ph1 172.

After a spot of bad luck last night, my friends Ph1 172 bottom end decided to go! It's a titanium silver, in good condition with only a very small amount of rust starting to bubble around one of the rear arches. It drives superbly, tight and straight. Had new brakes all round only a few months...

    197 vs 200

^ As VXR says. I have driven a friends 197 without cup chassis, and compared it to my 200 with cup chassis - there is a difference with more torque mid range and has more of a kick at 5krpm. Steering is also quicker with the cup pack as they have quicker steering racks, and also, prove to be...

    MarkCup's Fiesta ST

I am really liking these cars. Just need to test drive one now and see if they live up to the reviews and amount of praise they are receiving. The distances I have to travel is ever increasing and at sub 30mpg means I can get 350 miles from a full tank. Mark - how many miles from a full...

    Short vids from Curborough today

^ Completely understand mate, Or look at it from another point of view. The drivers only have 2 practise runs etc and then they have to go flat out, 100% on a competitive run after only 2 practices. And when they're running circa 1380bhp/tonne in a single seater (John Bradburn). Utter...

    Short vids from Curborough today

Chip - it's a good way to learn the limits of your car without the risk of other people on track too. I personally finds sprints and hillclimbs more interesting than circuits as well.

Dan - It's Chris the guy who organises the trackdays with the LY200. If you want one of us to come out with you and help you with a few line choices, just ask us! Look forward to seeing you on the 4th! I will pop out an email shortly, but by the sounds of this I'm guessing you're still attending.

Regular West Midlands Meet - See Calendar

Guys, just thought I'd introduce myself here on the West Mids section. I'm Chris who had the LY200 last night. Was a good little meet, and more than likely attending some more in the future!
