IMO, as nice as the V6's are they have been too much money from day one. You'd have to be a bit nuts to buy one in the first place IMO. Hardly a wise investment. If I ever bought one I'd expect to lose a shed load of money on it come sale time.
Hmm.... one guy who was going to sell me a hub off his 172 cup asked me to measure the distance between the two bolt holes where the strut meets the hub. Mine are 54mm, he said his were 60mm :S I thought it was only the 182 cups and trophies, or maybe just the trophies that had 60mm strut bolt...
Can someone tell me if there are differences in front wheel hubs used on the 172's, and 172 cups?
Basically I need to replace a front wheel hub on my PH2 172 and I need to know if they are all the same on the PH2's (172 & cups) or if there are differences that I need to be aware of?
Really...

And for those who want xenon main beam as...
Need to fit a new front nearside wheel hub, as garage has told me the lower suspension arm balljoint hole has been enlarged due to being badly fitted previously.
I need a decisive answer as to whether a 172 cup hub will fit on my 172 full fat. Both PH2. e.g. does lack of ABS make any...
They are in most cars mate. The bi-xenon kits do away with the main beam bulb altogether and just use one bulb which can switch between dipped headlight and main beam - switching with a relay. I'm guessing the relay connects inline with the empty main beam bulb connector and and the dipped...
^^ can't get a better recommendation than that, those are the ones I'd go for without a doubt. IMO that'd be £50 well spent. I'd go with the 5000k ones though I reckon, to look like manufacturer fitted. I'd also be tempted by the bi-xenon they sell, which obviously incorporates high beam as...
